Inspired by a lifetime love of Pirelli Calendars, internationally acclaimed photographer Paul Giggle has produced the second collection of breathtakingly beautiful women in 12 Natural Wonders – Brazil.

With Brazil synonymous for having some of the sexiest and adored women in the world, it was no surprise that this world-class photographer chose to capture all the vibrancy, warmth, colour and energy of South America’s largest country to coincide with the FIFA 2014 World Cup.

12 Natural Wonders Brazil embodies the diverse cultures, landscapes and flavours of the Brazilian beauty, but what makes each image a collectable piece of art from Paul is the meticulous and thoughtful research surrounding every shot, resulting in a glorious photographic exploration of the true natural wonders of Brazil.

Paul explains his quest to represent not just any ‘bikini girl’, but the very essence of Brazil’s women - all presented through a warm, sun-drenched hue that saturates the 12 images.

“We traveled all over the country to find the perfect backdrops to reflect the natural wonders of Brazil from the vibrancy of the famous beaches like Ipanema and Copacabana Beach, to the wild beauty of tropical North Brazil.

“I also wanted to represent all the wonderful ethnic flavours of Brazil; from the amazing blondes with their Dutch heritage, to the South American Indian influence with their very olive skin and long dark hair and then there is the quintessential powerful Amazonian Brazilian beauty as captured in the jungle style shot in the month of September.

“My style inspiration for this calendar has almost a 1970’s feel – ironically the last time Brazil won the World Cup was in 1974! I feel confident they could do it again in 2014,” he said.

Paul is no stranger to capturing rare beauties. He was one of the first photographers’ to ever shoot Queensland born and now international stars Miranda Kerr, Catherine McNeil and Samantha Harristhroughout his 18 career in fashion photography, with work appearing in top glossies like Vogue, Marie Claire, Madame Figaro, GQ and Elle Magazines.

12 Natural Wonders Brazil is the second in the series following the first Australian collection featuring twelve stunning models in a series of nudes amidst the raw beauty of the Australian coastlines.

The 12 Natural Wonders 2013 calendar is part of a long-term project taking Paul to a different country each year to photograph beautiful woman against amazing landscapes and architecture. Next year is Italy and on the list for future calendars are France, Russia, UK, USA and Asia.

Paul cut his teeth as a Publisher and Creative Director in London and also worked as a film director for nine years in Australia directing a music clip for legends INXS and also worldwide Pepsi and Nokia campaigns.

We can also expect to enjoy some of the trials, tribulations as well as the beautiful moments experienced by Paul and his crew making this calendar with a future documentary showing the making of 12 Natural Wonders.
